The woman met the man on an online dating site and he was visiting for the weekend. The man reportedly drank heavily throughout his stay and, after being asked to leave, allegedly assaulted the victim.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man for trespassing, resisting arrest and assault, among other charges, on Saturday, June 22.
Deputies went to a home on Arrow Drive when the resident contacted authorities claiming a man was refusing to leave her property following physical assault.
The woman met the man on an online dating site and he was visiting for the weekend. The man reportedly drank heavily throughout his stay and, after being asked to leave, allegedly assaulted the victim.
When the suspect left her house, the victim locked her door and contacted authorities, as he remained on her front porch.
The responding deputy reported that the man appeared intoxicated upon arrival and admitted to having a knife on his person. The knife was not located, but he did have a black jack or a sand-filled pouch used to hit people.
The man was detained after resisting arrest and has been charged.
*On Sunday, June 16, a woman on Calaveras Drive reported that her wedding band, estimated at $500, was missing.
The same victim had reported being a victim of credit card fraud three days prior after being contacted by her bank and questioned about three purchases, totaling $149, $204 and $165, which she had not made.
While the victim did not have a possible suspect at the time of the credit card fraud report, the lost wedding ring led them to believe that their housekeeper might be responsible, as they were the only person allowed access to the master bedroom.
*A report of criminal damage was made on Teakwood Lane Friday, June 21. The victim reported that someone had thrown a large rock into the windshield of the car parked in front of their home.
Damages are estimated at $250.
*On Friday, June 14, a burglary was reported on Lost Tank Trail in Fort McDowell.
One of the victims reported that she had returned home from work to discover their front door ajar. She waited for her husband to get home from work before going into the house together.
Inside, a jewelry cabinet was reported missing from the master bedroom.
The estimated value of the jewelry cabinet and its contents is $600.
*A burglary was reported in the 1900 block of Poco Rio Dr. in Rio Verde on June 17.
A man contacted authorities stating that he was watching a friend’s house while he was on an extended leave. Having last visited the house on June 10 and returning on June 17, the man discovered that three televisions, estimated at $5,850 in total value, were missing from the premises.
Upon investigation, the reporting deputy discovered a pair of windows and a back door had been unlocked with no sign of forced injury. The complainant stated that he had no idea how the door or windows got unlocked and that they were all locked upon his last visit.
*A vehicle burglary was reported on the 14000 block of Ibsen Dr., thought to occur between the hours of 9:30 p.m. on June 17 and 7:30 a.m. on June 18.
The vehicle had been left unlocked in front of the residence and a GPS device, estimated at $300, was stolen overnight.
*A shoplifting was reported at a convenience store on Fountain Hills Blvd. on June 25.
According to an employee, a man had tried to purchase a case of beer at 2:05 a.m., at which time the employee refused to sell due to it being past 2 a.m.
The suspect then walked out of the store with beer in tow without paying.
*A man was charged with indecent exposure at Fountain Park on June 25 at 6:35 a.m.
A call came in during the early morning hours stating that an elderly man had been seen walking at the park with his penis exposed. The caller stated they were worried that other morning visitors to the park, especially children, might come across the man.
The responding deputy was able to verify the incident when the man was found near the Veterans Memorial and was eventually charged.
*An automobile theft was reported at Fountain Hill Middle School on June 25.
A deputy was dispatched to the school on N. McDowell Mountain Rd. at 6:25 a.m. when a report came in that a truck belonging to the district had gone missing.
According to the complainant, the truck had been locked inside a garage the night before. When the district employee returned to work the following morning, the garage door was still closed, but the truck was missing.
The deputy determined that it was possible that the perpetrator had climbed over a wall and dropped down into the open air garage to steal the unlocked vehicle.
