Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a loud party on Blackbird Drive Saturday, June 29, and cited nine individuals for underage consumption of alcohol.

Deputies learned that the homeowners were away, but their teen daughter, who was with them, gave permission for her friends to use their backyard for a party.

One male subject, age 20, was arrested. The remainder of the group included juveniles ages 16 and 15.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a loud party on Blackbird Drive Saturday, June 29, and cited nine individuals for underage consumption of alcohol.

Deputies learned that the homeowners were away, but their teen daughter, who was with them, gave permission for her friends to use their backyard for a party.

One male subject, age 20, was arrested. The remainder of the group included juveniles ages 16 and 15.

*On Saturday, June 29, deputies cited two Fountain Hills juveniles, one male and one female, for shoplifting at the Target store on Shea Boulevard. Store security observed the two picking up items and putting them into their pockets.

*On Thursday, June 6, deputies received a report that an unknown male subject had stolen cell phone accessories valued at $130 from a Verizon store in the 16000 block of Shea Boulevard.

*On Saturday, June 15, a resident of the 15000 block of Green Valley Drive reported someone had thrown a rock through a garage window damaging a vehicle parked inside.

*On Friday, June 28, Fort McDowell Police located a vehicle reported stolen in Fountain Hills June 25. They arrested a woman who had possession of the vehicle, but she denied stealing it.

*On Wednesday, June 26, deputies received a report of a burglary in the 16000 block of Lone Mountain Road. A laptop computer, purse, Social Security card and a watch were reported taken. The property is valued at about $600.

*On Wednesday, June 26, deputies investigated a collision on Saguaro Boulevard at Trevino Drive. A vehicle traveling north on Saguaro was struck by a vehicle making a left turn from Trevino onto Saguaro. Damage was minor. A female driving the vehicle coming off Trevino was cited for failure to yield.

*On Saturday, June 29, a resident of the 17000 block of Teal Drive reported items stolen from his vehicle parked in the driveway. The owner heard a noise about 2 a.m. and saw two male subjects, believed to be teens, walking from the scene.

*On Sunday, June 30, deputies investigated a minor rear-end collision at Hamilton Drive and Saguaro Boulevard. There was minor damage and no injuries.

*On Saturday, June 29, a female juvenile, age 15, reported she believes she was sexually assaulted at a party at a Fountain Hills hotel. She told deputies she was given drinks and does not remember what happened after that.

*On Monday, June 24, a Fountain Hills man reported someone had used his Social Security number. The man went to obtain a driver license permit and was told someone already had a license under that SS number.

*On Monday, July 1, a Fountain Hills man was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop for speeding. He was also cited for excessive speed, failure to provide identification and a violation of a license restriction. The man was operating a motorcycle with no red lighting on the rear, and he was allegedly traveling 67 miles per hour where the speed limit is 25.

*On Wednesday, July 3, a man was stopped near La Montana and Hamilton drives as possibly being impaired. Deputies discovered a warrant from a Mesa court for the man. He was also driving with a suspended license and was in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also carrying $3,500 in cash and a handgun, which were impounded for safekeeping.

*On Saturday, June 22, a New Mexico woman reported jewelry valued at between $5,000 and $6,000 stolen from her hotel room in Fountain Hills.

*On Wednesday, June 26, deputies received a report of a burglary at a residence on Cordova Lane in Rio Verde. Two televisions with a total value of $1,400 were reported missing by a house sitter for the resident.

*On Monday, June 24, a resident of the 16000 block of Glenbrook Blvd. reported a Glock .45 pistol had been stolen from his unlocked vehicle.

*On Monday, July 1, deputies received a report that someone had stolen two firearms from a gun safe at a residence in the 15000 block of Marathon Drive. The guns, valued at a total of $1,400, were last seen in December 2012.

*On Wednesday, July 3, a Fountain Hills man reported someone used his Social Security number to file a tax return for 2012.

*On Thursday, July 4, a resident in the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard reported someone stole tools valued at $160 from their parked vehicle.

*On Wednesday, July 3, deputies received a report of graffiti painted on the curb in front of a home in the 15000 block of Trevino Drive.

*On Thursday, July 4, a Fountain Hills woman reported someone took her wallet containing $326 in cash.

*On Friday, July 5, a Phoenix man was arrested for extreme DUI after he was stopped on Saguaro Boulevard in Fountain Hills.

*On Saturday, July 6, two Fountain Hills men were arrested for disorderly conduct after a reported argument over a parking space at an apartment complex.

*On Saturday, July 6, a Queen Creek man was cited for reckless driving and excessive speed on Fountain Hills Boulevard. The man was traveling 70 miles per hour and slammed on his brakes skidding when he saw the deputy.

*On Monday, July 8, a man was seen leaving a Fountain Hills convenience store with an 18-pack of beer he had not paid for.
