Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 in Fountain Hills has reported the following recent incidents:

*On Tuesday, Dec. 2, a resident of the 14000 block of Greenhurst Avenue reported someone broke into his vehicle and removed a GPS unit and camera, both with a total value of $400.

*On Wednesday, Nov. 19, a Fountain Hills man reported a man and a woman had stolen one of his checkbooks and transferred money from his bank account.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 in Fountain Hills has reported the following recent incidents:

*On Tuesday, Dec. 2, a resident of the 14000 block of Greenhurst Avenue reported someone broke into his vehicle and removed a GPS unit and camera, both with a total value of $400.

*On Wednesday, Nov. 19, a Fountain Hills man reported a man and a woman had stolen one of his checkbooks and transferred money from his bank account.

*On Tuesday, Dec. 2, deputies received a report of a wrecked vehicle near Greenhurst and Oxford drives. It appeared that the vehicle had gone through a “T” intersection and ran into an embankment. There was no one in the vehicle or in the area. No one answered the door at the Fountain Hills residence of the registered owner of the vehicle.

*On Tuesday, Dec. 2, a Fountain Hills woman reported that she and her mother had been receiving threatening text messages from a male subject on their personal cell phones.

*On Wednesday, Dec. 3, a Fountain Hills man reported that someone had stolen a drill kit from the garage of his home in the 17000 block of Quail Ridge Drive.

*On Thursday, Dec. 4, a resident of the 13000 block of Old Paint Trail in Maricopa County reported someone had stolen property from their home.

*On Thursday, Dec. 4, a couple reported receiving threatening text messages while at their residence on 155th Place in Maricopa County.

*On Friday, Dec. 5, a Colorado man was cited for speed greater than 20 miles per hour over the speed limit through a construction zone on Shea Boulevard. He was traveling 50 miles per hour where the speed limit is 25.

*On Friday, Dec. 5, a resident of the 17000 block of Calle Del Oro reported someone had removed stereo equipment and cigarettes from his vehicle. The property is valued at $350.

*On Saturday, Dec. 6, a Scottsdale woman was cited for traveling 60 miles per hour where the speed limit is 45 miles per hour on N. 144th Street in Maricopa County.

*On Saturday, Dec. 6, a Scottsdale man was cited for speeding at 72 miles per hour on McDowell Mountain Road where the speed limit is 45.

*On Saturday, Dec. 6, a Rio Verde man was cited for traveling 78 miles per hour on Rio Verde Drive at 150th Street, where the speed limit is 50.

*On Wednesday, Dec. 10, deputies received a report from an Iowa woman that she was having trouble having a truck returned from relatives in Fountain Hills and Phoenix. The truck was reported as stolen and detectives are following up on the incident.

*On Monday, Dec. 8, a resident of Tonto Trail in Tonto Verde reported a burglary in which a set of golf clubs and tools were stolen from the garage of their home.
