Deputies located a man who was unable to respond to their questions, but in searching him they found evidence of narcotics on his person.
The man was taken to the hospital by ambulance where a deputy was able to question him. The man admitted to a drug problem and he faces charges for possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies received a report of an unresponsive man in the parking lot of a residence in the 16000 block of Gunsight Drive on Thursday, March 5.
Deputies located a man who was unable to respond to their questions, but in searching him they found evidence of narcotics on his person.
The man was taken to the hospital by ambulance where a deputy was able to question him. The man admitted to a drug problem and he faces charges for possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
*On Sunday, March 1, deputies received a report from a resident of the 12000 block of LaRonda Court that someone had stolen jewelry valued at $20,000 from their home.
On Sunday, March 1, a resident of the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard reported someone had stolen a bicycle valued at $200 from a parking space in an apartment complex.
*On Sunday, March 1, staff at the Fountain Hills Denny’s restaurant reported two women had left the restaurant without paying and also took a gift card with a $100 value. A credit card had been declined for payment.
*On Monday, March 2, deputies investigated a vehicle accident at Saguaro Boulevard and Ledferd Lane. One vehicle passed another in the construction zone and clipped the second while moving back to the traffic lane. There were no injuries.
*On Tuesday, March 3, there was an accident on Saguaro Boulevard at Desert Vista. A vehicle traveling north on the frontage road attempted to make a U-turn to southbound Saguaro and collided with a driver making a left turn from southbound Saguaro onto Desert Vista. The driver making the U-turn was issued four citations for the accident – failure to stop for stop sign, making an unsafe turn, failure to control their vehicle to avoid a collision and registration not in vehicle.
*On Tuesday, March 3, deputies were called to the 12000 block of Chama Drive for a fight between a man and a woman. He said his ex-girlfriend came over just to pick a fight and he pushed her out the door when she would not leave.
*On Wednesday, March 4, deputies investigated an accident at Palisades and Palomino boulevards. A driver eastbound on Eagle Ridge/Palomino said he stopped for the stop sign and proceeded into the intersection when he was struck by a southbound vehicle making a left.
*On Tuesday, March 3, deputies were called to an accident in Rio Verde at Forest Road and Four Peaks Boulevard. A vehicle making a left turn from Four Peaks onto northbound Forest Road collided with another vehicle traveling north on Forest. A woman passenger in one vehicle was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
*On Wednesday, March 4, a woman reported that her juvenile son, age 16, had assaulted her in their residence in the 14000 block of Olympic Way. The woman admitted she had been drinking. Deputies forwarded the case to the juvenile county attorney for charges. The boy was released to a family friend until his father returned.
*On Thursday, March 5, an unknown person removed merchandise valued at $140 at the Circle K at Saguaro and Shea boulevards.
*On Thursday, March 5, an unknown person shot an arrow at a residence in the 15000 block of Mustang Drive. The arrow stuck in the rear patio door frame.
*On Friday, March 6, deputies responded with Fort McDowell Fire Department for a fire in the Goldfield Ranch area. A fifth-wheel trailer, a fork lift and two jet skis were destroyed by the blaze. The origin of the fire was not determined, although it is believed it may have been an electrical fire.
*On Friday, March 6, a propane leak caused a small explosion and fire on the patio of a Fountain Hills restaurant. The blaze was extinguished by employees and no one was injured.
*On Saturday, March 7, deputies investigated a minor rear-end collision on Saguaro Boulevard just north of El Lago Boulevard.
*On Saturday, March 7, a man travelling east on Rio Verde Drive drove through the intersection at Forest Road and into the desert east of the intersection next to the golf course. He was not injured.
*On Sunday, March 8, deputies received a call from a resident of the 11000 block of Saguaro Boulevard that someone had wiped dog feces on the door of his residence. He believes it is related to an ongoing dispute with a neighbor. Deputies were not able to immediately contact the neighbor.
