On Tuesday, June 7, Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies received a Text-A-Tip report of an underage drinking party in the 16000 block of Crystal Ridge Drive.

When deputies arrived and made contact with the individual who lived there several partiers jumped a fence to flee the scene.

Deputies cited nine minors, ages 15 to 18. Six were cited for underage consumption of alcohol, while three were cited for possession of alcohol.

On Tuesday, June 7, Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies received a Text-A-Tip report of an underage drinking party in the 16000 block of Crystal Ridge Drive.

When deputies arrived and made contact with the individual who lived there several partiers jumped a fence to flee the scene.

Deputies cited nine minors, ages 15 to 18. Six were cited for underage consumption of alcohol, while three were cited for possession of alcohol.

Parents were contacted to pick up the juveniles.

*On Monday, June 13, a man fell about 12 feet from a truss at a construction site in the 15000 block of Palatial Drive. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

*On Monday, June 13, a Phoenix man, age 31, was cited and released for disorderly conduct following a disturbance at the Fountain Hills Library. The man was talking with three teens in the library when he began yelling and swearing at the teens. A librarian told the man to leave the premises. One of the teens told deputies he has seen the man before and believes he works in Fountain Hills and comes to the library during a lunch break.

*On Tuesday, June 14, an unknown individual removed a painted ceramic mold depicting Jackson Square in New Orleans from a residence in the 15000 block of Morning Vista Lane in the Rio Verde Foothills area. The art is valued at $900.

*On Tuesday, June 14, the Fountain Hills Unified School District IT administrator reported someone committed computer fraud disrupting the district’s Internet system access. A web-based program was used to deny the district access to the Internet on several occasions. A suspect was identified as a 17-yer-old male student. Charges are pending further investigation.

*On Tuesday, June 14, deputies investigated a two-vehicle collision on Palisades Boulevard at Wendover Drive. A woman making a U-Turn was struck by a pick-up traveling south from Fountain Hills Boulevard. The woman making the U-Turn was cited for an unsafe lane change.

*On Tuesday, June 14, a Mesa man reported the license plate was stolen from his vehicle while he was working in the 10000 block of Canyon View Lane in Fountain Hills.

*On Saturday, June 4, a resident of the 15000 block of Pancho Villa Place reported someone had attempted to break into his home cutting security screens on a garage door and a bedroom window. Damage to the screens is estimated at $50.

On Saturday, June 18, a man reported his 17-year-old son as a runaway. He said he had been gone three days. The father told deputies the son has run away before but is usually back within a day. The family lives in the 28000 block of N. 154th Street in Maricopa County.

*On Sunday, June 19, deputies responded to a report of an assault on a resident at a home in the 16000 block of Fairfax Drive. Two men were arguing over an alleged affront to a woman who lived at the home with them.

*On Tuesday, June 7, a Fountain Hills woman reported a computer, a work phone and a computer bag were stolen from her vehicle parked in the 14000 block of Aguilar Drive.

*On Sunday, June 19, a Fountain Hills woman reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle parked in a condo parking lot on Fountain Hills Boulevard. The woman told deputies she left the vehicle unlocked and running while she checked her mailbox.
