Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a fight at a residence in the 11000 block of Valley Drive on Sunday, July 24.
Deputies located the man claiming to be the victim at the McDonald’s at Shea and Saguaro boulevards. The man said his roommate punched him in the jaw twice. He asked to be taken to the hospital. He did not appear to deputies to be injured.
Deputies contacted the victim’s mother who is the owner of the home where the fight took place. They also talked with the alleged assailant and they found no evidence of assault. Deputies took no action.

*On Monday, July 25, deputies responded with an adult probation officer in attempting to locate a suspect in the 31000 block of 138th Street for a probation violation. The suspect could not be located. They returned on Wednesday, July 27, and found the man and his girlfriend in a trailer at the residence. The woman was attempting to hide under a table but later told deputies she did not know where her boyfriend was. He was located hiding under a bed. He was arrested on a probation violation for not reporting and the woman was arrested for hindering prosecution.
*On Tuesday, July 26, a resident of the 14000 block of Caliente Drive reported his 2011 Chevy Malibu stolen. He later received a call from an unknown person saying the vehicle would be returned, and it was by early morning.
*On Tuesday, July 26, deputies received a report of an unknown man and woman who were seen attempting to break into an office complex in the 13000 block of La Montana Drive. They were seen by a witness breaking into a storage area.
*On Friday, July 22, deputies were called to the 14000 block of Cameo Drive for a reported domestic violence assault. A man and woman got into an argument when she came to pick up their children. The woman allegedly pushed and scratched the man.
On Wednesday, July 27, a woman was seen on surveillance video putting merchandise into a large purse while at the Fountain Hills Target store. She had makeup and other merchandise valued at about $150. She was stopped in the parking lot and cited and released.
*On Tuesday, July 26, a resident of the 15000 block of Marathon Drive reported finding damage to stucco on their home as a result of rocks being thrown at the house. The residents heard a noise on Wednesday, July 20, but did not immediately discover the damage.
*On Sunday, July 21, deputies received a report of a collision at Saguaro and Shea boulevards with one driver leaving the scene. The drivers were making turns onto eastbound Shea from opposite directions when they collided. The driver reporting the accident pulled into a nearby parking lot. Deputies located a vehicle matching the description of the hit and run vehicle at the Fort McDowell Casino parking lot and located the driver through follow up on the vehicle registration. The woman driving told deputies it was the other driver who left the scene, but she was cited for leaving the scene of an accident and failure to update the address for her registration.
*On Friday, July 29, deputies responded to a report of an accident in a parking lot in the 16000 block of Shea Boulevard. Deputies found an unresponsive driver behind the wheel of a vehicle that had struck a curb before hitting another vehicle. The driver was revived and was eventually cited and released for driving under the influence of medication.
*On Sunday, July 31, deputies took a man into custody for shoplifting $20 in merchandise from the Bashas’ store in Fountain Hills. He was detained by store employees.
