The man in the vehicle was arrested when residents were able to identify some of their property inside his vehicle.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies in Fountain Hills arrested a Chandler man on Sunday, Jan. 29, in connection with two burglaries in the 14000 block of San Carlos Drive.
Deputies were responding to a report of a burglary in progress and, when they arrived, witnesses pointed out a suspicious vehicle with a man inside.
The man in the vehicle was arrested when residents were able to identify some of their property inside his vehicle.
The suspect told deputies he was at a gas station in Chandler when he was approached by three men who paid him to bring them to Fountain Hills. He dropped them off at one of the two residences with a reported burglary and he was asked to wait for one of them.
He said he did not flee when deputies arrived because he did not know what was going on. He was arrested and booked for possession of stolen property. The other suspects were not apprehended.
*On Tuesday, Jan. 24, the Maricopa County Attorney filed charges against a Fountain Hills woman accused of stealing from the HOA where she served as treasurer. She is being charged with fraudulent schemes, theft and forgery; all felony charges.
*On Sunday, Jan. 22, deputies received a report that an unknown subject had retrieved a cell phone from lost and found at the Fountain Hills Target store. The theft discovery came when the owner attempted to pick up the phone and was told someone else had collected it. The employee who gave the male suspect the phone did not get identification from the man.
*On Monday, Jan. 23, a resident reported someone had stolen two suitcases belonging to a Fountain Hills woman from a storage unit.
*On Thursday, Jan. 19, deputies responded to a criminal damage report in the 13000 block of Saguaro Boulevard. Someone broke into a women’s restroom and caused about $250 in damage.
*On Wednesday, Jan. 25, deputies arrested a Phoenix woman at the scene of a single vehicle accident on Shea Boulevard near Balera Drive. The woman had been driving the vehicle without a license.
*On Saturday, Jan. 28, a Fountain Hills juvenile male, age 15, was cited for underage consumption of alcohol at a dance at Fountain Hills High School. He was also suspended from school.
*On Friday, Jan. 27, a man reported he had an argument with his parents and his father struck him in the head at the parents’ residence in the 14000 block of Barbie Lane in unincorporated Maricopa County.
*On Wednesday, Jan. 25, a Fountain Hills juvenile male allegedly threw a rock at a school bus and broke a window while at the Fountain Hills High School campus. Possible charges are pending.
*On Sunday, Jan. 29, deputies were called to a Scottsdale hospital where a Fountain Hills man reported being assaulted at his residence in the 15000 block of Pampas Place. The victim would not identify his attackers and is unwilling to aid in prosecution.
*On Sunday, Jan. 29, a Fountain Hills woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia when deputies were called for a welfare check in the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard. Two women were found sleeping in a vehicle in a parking lot.
*On Thursday, Jan. 26, a resident reported $500 damage to his vehicle from being keyed in the 16000 block of El Lago Boulevard.
*On Thursday, Jan. 26, a Fountain Hills man was arrested for criminal damage and underage consumption of alcohol following an incident causing damage at a residence in the 14000 block of Sherwood Drive.
*On Wednesday, Jan. 25, a resident of the 15000 block of Palomino Boulevard reported two of his vehicles were broken into while parked on his driveway. A handgun, golf clubs and other items were stolen, valued at more than $1,400.
*On Monday, Jan. 23, a Glendale, Ariz. man was cited for speeding and arrested for driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop and failure to carry vehicle registration.
*On Sunday, Jan. 29, a Fountain Hills man reported a TV and digital camera were stolen from his residence in the 15000 block of Stratford Circle.
