Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man in connection with an attempted burglary at the medical marijuana dispensary in Fountain Hills on Sunday, July 15.
Deputies responding to an audible alarm in the area located a suspicious man walking away from the dispensary in the 16700 block of Enterprise Drive.
The suspect was identified as Frank Duenas, 55, who was found to have an MCSO warrant for his arrest for indecent exposure. He was detained by deputies as they continued their investigation.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man in connection with an attempted burglary at the medical marijuana dispensary in Fountain Hills on Sunday, July 15.
Deputies responding to an audible alarm in the area located a suspicious man walking away from the dispensary in the 16700 block of Enterprise Drive.
The suspect was identified as Frank Duenas, 55, who was found to have an MCSO warrant for his arrest for indecent exposure. He was detained by deputies as they continued their investigation.
Deputies found the glass entry door to the dispensary shattered with a small hole. They also found that an interior glass door was also broken, but locked.
A responsible party for the business was called to the scene and video Surveillance was obtained. According the MCSO the video shows Duenas using a fire extinguisher and a rock to break the outside door to enter the lobby. He attempted to break the interior door, but was not successful.
Duenas was booked on the outstanding warrant as well as burglary, criminal trespass and criminal damage.

*Thursday, July 19, 9:31 a.m., burglary from a vehicle, 15000 block of Marathon Drive.
