What is holy about President Trump’s alleged words? Likewise, Senator Graham’s words? Not a single thing! Yet fake news calls it profanity. It is no such thing.
Profanity is treating something sacred with verbal abuse, being irreverent, or to desecrate/damage or pollute that something, be it a belief system or a physical system considered holy. The key word is “holy.”
There is not a single thing holy in a hell hole.

Without doubt there are locations in any country where most people would be fearful to lay their heads to sleep, and that for many reasons. How, without profanity, would you name or describe such areas? Your description, your name, would be your choice. Free speech, you know.
Profanities do exist, both material and spiritual, like harming habitat, water, air, etc. At one time, cutting down sequoia trees. And at one time, much less regard for species. Like the extinction of the passenger pigeon by wanton, incessant shooting them out of the sky. At their height estimated at 5 to 6 billion – yes, billion – the last one in 1918.
Perhaps if American adults would abide by the child’s affirmation, “sticks and stones can break my bones (an action), but names can never harm me (a thought),” our country would heal. Yes, a rather simple affirmation for our so-called sophisticates.
Another profanity: Liars and their lies in both speech and writing.
Sacred is truth and being holy. Truth, holy and sacred are more than synonymous, they are equal.
Finding truth in politics is like “draining the swamp” in Washington, D.C. A prodigious task.
