I found it amazing that the person who wrote a letter last week about our undeveloped town lives here. He stated that they moved to Fountain Hills because they loved it. Now he wants it to be changed to mirror the big cities. More schools, people, retail, residents, a movie theater. Get rid of the retirees and snowbirds.

Mister, why did you move to a quiet town? Why not move to Phoenix where you can get everything you want and more – crime, noise, congestion, traffic, schools and anything else you desire that our beautiful Town of Fountain Hills does not provide.

The people who live here moved here for what the town is. We like what we have and hope it will be left alone. I know that progress is inevitable, but where will you go when you retire and would like the peace and serenity of a small town? Will there be any left?
