Judge Kavanaugh is being pilloried because of an incident that allegedly occurred 35 years ago, and he may potentially be denied a seat on the Supreme Court. The “Saint of the Oppressed” (Dianne Feinstein), at the last minute, found a woman who decided to come forth with her allegations against Judge Kavanaugh. Oh, guess what, Dianne had this information months before revealing it.
Before we go any further, let me say that no one knows if the allegations are true, except perhaps three people. I’m only questioning the ability of anyone to substantiate them. According to the accuser, only three people were in the room; Judge Kavanaugh, Mark Judge and Ms. Ford. Two of the people, supposedly in the room, say it didn’t happen. One says he wasn’t even there and the other hasn’t weighed in on that.
Two people say no and one says yes. Maybe yes is the right answer, but how can we know who is truthful? We can’t.

Does that mean that we assume Judge Kavanaugh is somehow tainted and unfit for the Supreme Court? If we do that, we have convicted him by proxy, and that’s against everything we’re supposed to believe in.
Democrat or Republican, if you think this is right, you have problems far more serious than figuring out if Kavanaugh should be confirmed to the Supreme Court.
Does anyone remember the basic premise of our justice system? We are presumed innocent unless convicted of being guilty, beyond a reasonable doubt. Please tell me how the FBI could come close to ascertaining the validity of these allegations. He and he said against she said. I don’t think so.
Have we come so far that we think that anyone accused of a crime (even if it wasn’t at the time) is guilty. Please.
