Josephine Schuit

Josephine C. Schuit (nee Wherity), age 94, died May 24, 2014. She was born Jan. 30, 1920.

She was the dear mother of Tom McGucken (Gwen), Pastor Raymond Anderson (Mary), JoAnn Hoffman (Pam Zabilka) and Don Anderson (Sue) of Fountain Hills; grandmother of six and great grandmother of 11.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Wherity and Josephine Wherity (nee Donahue), nine brothers and sisters along with husbands, Thomas McGucken, Warren Anderson and Lawrence Schuit.

She is survived by one brother, Jerry Wherity, who resides in California.

Jo lived most of her life in Midlothian, Ill. and retired to the Meadows of Tempe and then Cambridge, Minn.

A memorial service will be held in Chicago at a later date.
