James: Her versus him

Posted

Let's compare the starkly opposite approaches of our two mayoral candidates.

She's proven to be committed to diverse representation for all residents. He's strictly a political party guy.

She has vast elected leadership experience at several levels over 22 years. He has four years.

She wants to capitalize on planning efforts to leverage funding opportunities. He just voted no on a $100,000 grant that could have done just that.

She addresses staff work with meaningful input. He alienates staff by questioning their statutorily required efforts.

She takes the town attorney's advice. He often ignores that same advice by voting the opposite way.

As to local businesses, she earned an "A" grade from the Chamber. He earned a "C."

I'm voting for her. Not him.
