Jake Harned looking to anchor Falcons defense

Stepping up in linebacker role

At first glance, he may not strike most as physically imposing, but those within the Fountain Hills football program believe Jake Harned is that guy.

He can be heard over the rattling of chains, clanking of metal plates and blaring music in the weight room, and surely felt on the gridiron.

Falcons’ first-year head coach Nick Rock says he’s the epitome of old school football.
