Our nation was founded upon Judeo-Christian principles which were transcribed into the U.S. Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution, and Bill of Rights.

Thus began the greatest experience in self-government the world has ever seen.

The United States has been successful for nearly 240 years because of these principles.

No Muslim signed those documents. No Muslim promoted freedom with our Founding Fathers.

Ann Schweers’ letter stated that 15-30 percent of Muslims were American slaves and built this country.

History does not reflect Schweers’ statistics. Also, American slaves came from Black Africa in the South. Slave trading for America came from regions that were not yet conquered by Muslims.

Slavery was an embarrassing time for America, because it was wrong.

However, some important and good things that came from the American slave period began with the Negro spiritual. These songs and music laid the foundation for Southern Gospel music about the Lord, Jesus Christ.

The plantation blacks also developed the Cake Walk (Rag Time) and Jazz. Great contribution to faith and music, and no mention of Muslims.

Ms. Schweers further claimed that “many” Muslims died in the Twin Towers on 9-11.

From the list of Tower victims, there were very few, not many, Muslims killed in the Twin Towers on 9-11. Victims listed on the four American Airlines Flights on 9-11 and at the Pentagon did not indicate any Muslims killed. The first responders that day were America heroes (not Muslims) who lost their lives trying to save others.

Ms. Schweers praises Muslims. The Muslim, al-Hasseini, who claimed to be grand Mufti of Palestine, traveled to WWII Germany to meet with Hitler and Himmler. Muslim al-Hasseini helped devise the Nazi Holocaust, which killed six million to seven million Jews.

The philosophy of Islam hasn’t changed: it’s a culture of death.
