Sunday morning I wanted to walk around the Fountain Park at about 7:30 a.m., as I usually do, and enjoy the sculptures and stunning views.
On arrival, I found the irrigation on at full force, spraying the pathways with this filthy reclaimed water and swarms of mosquitoes taking flight around me. The grass in many places was so flooded it was impossible to deviate.
As a full-time resident of Fountain Hills, I would like to ask, who was responsible for this irrigation madness when people want to use the park on a Sunday morning? It was on for a good hour, too. Really?

Editor’s note: The Town is in the midst of overseeding and, as a result, watering schedules will vary from the norm until the work is complete.
