Keeping up with best business practices, the Fountain Hills Town Council OK’d an increase for drive-through signs to better match industry standards with a 6-1 vote.
Councilmember Peggy McMahon voted no as she believes the current signs in town suffice.
The town’s current regulations limited drive-through signs to one per lane and 20-square-feet or a maximum of five feet tall and within five feet of the lane itself. The signs must not be readable from public streets or alleys nor within 150 feet of residential districts.
