We plan to vote yes on May 15 for the primary property tax. Why? We have lived in Fountain Hills for 20 years and this town is very important to us.

We want the town to remain the beautiful place in which we chose to live. We are very aware that this is badly needed to balance the town’s budget, required by state law, without which many of the amenities would require severe cuts. This would affect all the property values in our town. We have not forgotten how much property tax we paid in other locations where we lived.

We have researched the reasons for our decision by attending one of the information meetings (there are two more; April 11 at 6:30 p.m. and April 30 at 3 p.m. at the Community Center), asked questions and found answers at two valuable websites; fh.az.gov and savefh.com. We feel that we are able to vote yes based on the facts.
