Policies and Procedures:
1. Issue trade sanctions against Mexico
2. Require illegal aliens to register
3. Issue tamper-proof ID cards that can be used to apply for working papers
4. Queue registered aliens applying for citizenship behind those applying legally
5. Deport illegal aliens convicted of crimes
6. Disqualify adult illegal aliens from eligibility for welfare entitlements
7. End chain migration (aliens reunifying with family in the U.S.)
8. End birthright citizenship (anchor babies)
9. Reject amnesty because it conflicts with the rule of law, and burdens local communities
10. Overhaul the U.S. Customs and Immigration Service (USCIS)
Employment:
1. Implement existing penalties for employers of illegal aliens, and require e-verify
2. Create employer sponsorship to manage guest worker wages
3. Requir!e DHS to implement the no-match letter rule
4. Expand U.S. business by raising the cap on H-1B visas for skilled workers
Enforcement and Security:
1. Implement the already approved Secure Fence Act of 2006
2. Order the U.S. Army to supplement the U.S. Border Patrol
3. Enforce existing laws and end “prosecutorial discretion”
4. Stop the federal assault on state and local immigration enforcement laws
5. Fire officials who don’t enforce existing laws
6. Require DHS to track-down expired visa holders
7. Fund local law enforcement with existing federal grants like Operation Stonegarden
8. Address smuggling and national security with the existing Border Enforcement Security Taskforce (BEST)
9. Organize State Defense Forces, volunteer organizations that assist in border control
10. Deploy existing technology like unmanned aerial vehicles, and tower and ground sensors
11. Fund Coast Guard cutters, aircraft, equipment, and training
12. Cooperate with Mexico on public safety and crime by implementing the existing Merida Initiative
13. Establish law enforcement cooperation by implementing the existing U.S. ICE Section 287g program
