I hope that the unjust, personal assassination attempts by the likes of Mikolaczyk and Archambault of Cecil Yates, who had the audacity to declare his candidacy to run for mayor, will stop.
It is worth checking the sources of the individuals responsible for the sensational headline about Councilman Yates on last week’s front-page story. An account of the ethics probe finding fault with Mikolaczyk was clearly documented on Page 8A of last week’s Fountain Hills Times. Also, readers don’t have to think back too far to remember the result of Archambault’s last attempt to run for council. His behavior toward certain individuals while serving on the council in his first term reminded voters not to vote for him again.

It is a long time before the election and it will not be helpful for the townsfolk if we have to read these orchestrated attacks every week.
Both candidates for mayor certainly have different perspectives on how to run this town. I know Cecil, he is an honorable man and he will make an excellent mayor. His expertise and knowledge in real estate has already been beneficial to Fountain Hills. He helped bring in MorningStar, Park Place, the Intercontinental Hotel expansion at Copperwynd and the development at Adero Canyon.
He has our best interests at heart to improve our lifestyle. He helped with the prestigious Dark Skies designation, saved over $800,000 on the development of the median park on the Avenue of the Fountains and chaired the General Plan Committee. He will provide continuity and the forward-looking leadership needed for Fountain Hills.
