Chuck Mooty, owner of the new Honey & Sol opening soon in Rio Verde, is providing an update on construction of the market which is nearly complete.
“We are super excited about how everything has come together and want to thank TBever Construction for the magnificent job,” Mooty said. “If all falls into place, we will be opening the convenience store/coffee shop on Thursday, Jan. 18.
“We will be training our staff a couple of weeks before the opening so you may see activity in the shop before we actually open.”
General Manager Chris Rocke will assemble his team over the next six weeks. For those with employment interest, reach out to Rocke directly at chris.Rocke@honeyandsol.com.
Honey & Sol is a non-profit organization. Pricing for goods is simply trying to cover costs and also provide a great experience, according to a press release.
“Our product offering will be in constant evolution as we better understand what sells and what doesn’t move very quickly,” Mooty said.
The hours of operation will be 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every day of the week. Expect the hours to be modified during the summer season.
“We are delighted to provide this amenity to the Verdes and hope that all of you will be excited to support our operation,” Mooty said. “We ask for your patience as we go through the learning curve of opening up Honey & Sol.”
