The Family History Society of Arizona, Fountain Hills Chapter, meets Monday, Jan. 9.

The first meeting of the new year will feature Karen Blackmore, who will give ideas about how to organize genealogy files, both paper and digital. The meeting will start at 9 a.m. at the Community Center.

A brief business meeting precedes Blackmore’s program. A genealogist, quilter and blogger, Blackmore began working on her family history in 2002. She didn’t document her findings in the beginning; she is going back now to fill in the blanks.
