High pollution advisory for Friday, April 22

A forecast for high winds the next couple of days has prompted the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) to issue a High Pollution Advisory for PM.10 particulate pollution for today, Friday, April 22.

Maricopa County is following the ADEQ advisory by implementing its air quality regulations that follow suit. Friday is a no-burn day for wood burning and avoid the use of off-road vehicle as well as the use of leaf blowers.
