Help Sanchez

Posted

This is a call out to all dog lovers.

For some of us, our family members have two legs; for others, they have four.

When the life of a family member is on the line, friends and sometimes strangers step up to help.

This is the case for Sanchez.

I learned that Sanchez was attacked by another dog while walking with his dad around Fountain Park.

I’m not going to go into details about the attack, but I do personally know both dogs involved and their owners, and I’m very disappointed in the other owner’s lack of responsibility.

The most important issue here is that” Sanchez” is partially paralyzed and fighting for his life as the result of this attack from “Tucker.”

Sanchez’s owner Scott is devastated and has exhausted all his money into keeping Sanchez alive to this point. I know many people in this community love their pets like family, as I do.

I also know there are many good-hearted people who would love to help Sanchez get the life-saving surgery he needs.

This is why I have set up a fund at MidFirst Bank for Sanchez. All money will go directly to the vet to pay for surgery. Once our goal amount is achieved, the account will be closed and no other donations will be taken.

This surgery is going to cost around $8,000; I pray we can reach this goal before it’s too late.

You can let us know who you are or remain anonymous. When you walk in to the bank, just tell them it’s for “Sanchez” and they will get the money to the right place.

I’m doing this because I love my four-legged family! I care about my community and my fellow dog lovers. I pray this story has a happy ending and we never see this type of incident again.
