Health watch for dust issued for Friday

ADEQ has issued an air quality health watch for Friday, May 11, related to PM-10 or dust.

Increasing winds are in the forecast and dust in the air is expected to approach the maximum federal standard for dust pollution.

The county’s wood burning restrictions are in effect for the watch. This includes individuals and businesses that have permits.

It is also asked that dust creating activities including use of leaf blowers be curtailed.
