A wild Canadian goose hatched some chicks. One of her young guys got entangled in string. What is a mother goose to do?

That goose waddled over to a parked police car and with her beak banged on the car metal. The alerted police officer, curious, discovered it was a goose making noise. She moves off, leading the officer to her trapped little one.

The fearless officer see the situation and untangles her chick. It scrams to its mother, a new situation for that mother goose.

Tell me how she knew to bang on the police car and how she knew the human in the car could and would help.

A four-year-old boy fell into the gorilla enclosure, a water-filled moat, Harambe’s place. Harambe went to the child, stood him up and, for at least 10 to 12 minutes, did not harm the boy.

Earlier, the mother goose was determinative in solving her new situation.

Why could not Harambe, with greater brain ability, also solve his new situation, a child in his enclosure?

It looked like Harambe was looking up to the gallery and waiting for help. Apparently there was no one willing – like the police officer and the goose – for someone to take a chance and for that person to climb down a ladder, while putting his hand out, climb into the moat to retrieve the boy.

By putting his hand out and lowering his head (Donna Rossi) the would-be hero would show Harambe powerful sign language. But no, it seemed fear of Harambe prevailed. Harambe would behave properly, yet no one gave credit even equal to a goose’s mentality to Harambe.

Harambe paid with his life; shot dead, no cause of his own. The event did not have to have a sad outcome.
