Happy with new citizen advisory committees in Fountain Hills

I think we all can agree that we need more accountability from our government – at all levels. Locally, I was very pleased to learn that Mayor Freidel is appointing citizen advisory committees to meet, study issues and advise members of the council.  

There are so many in this town who have backgrounds in fields that directly affect our day-to-day lives and tapping their knowledge and experience is a decided plus. 

When our town was just beginning, citizen committees were established. They set up many of the procedures and standards that have guided Fountain Hills through the years. It is a positive move to once again tap into this fertile resource.
