Halloween in the Hills

Halloween is right around the corner, which means it’s almost time for another big community event to take over Avenue of the Fountains.

We’ve watched Halloween in the Hills grow over the years into something pretty special, drawing in dozens of local businesses, clubs and organizations to host booths and demonstrations while passing out candy. With all of those trick-or-treat destinations lining the street, hundreds of ghosts, witches and superheroes make their way to the downtown area to enjoy food, candy, music, costume contests and fun aplenty.

This year’s Halloween in the Hills will run from 4 to 8 p.m., with an owner/pet costume contest set for 5:45 p.m. and a costume contest for the youngsters set for 6:30 p.m. Outside of those contests, there are plenty of activities to keep the kiddos entertained and, in case it needs repeating, lots and lots of candy.

Whether you begin your Halloween on the avenue or make a night of it, we encourage everyone to get out and join their neighbors for yet another fun and festive event right here in Fountain Hills.
