The deadline to make reservations for the Lower Verde River Valley Hall of Fame dinner is Friday, March 9.

The dinner is set for Wednesday, March 28.

A response card was enclosed with the invitation so attendees can send their payment and table choices. Those who did not receive an invitation and would like to attend should call Joanne Meehan, 480-837-9053. The cost is $40 per person.

The event will be held at Fountain Hills Community Center. Proceeds benefit the L. Alan Cruikshank River of Time Museum.

A cocktail hour will open the event at 6 p.m., followed by a filet mignon dinner catered by Phil’s Filling Station. Jazz vocalist Debbie Fisher, accompanied by pianist Mike Pizzuto, will provide entertainment during the cocktail hour.

After dinner, the induction ceremony will be held.

Seven individuals will be inducted in to the Hall of Fame at the dinner. They include Mike Archambault, Joe Bill, Sandy Davis, Sami Jack and Dwight Johnson, all from Fountain Hills; the late Birdie Pasenelli from Rio Verde; and the late Hiawatha Hood from Fort McDowell.

The Legacy Award will be presented to The Sonoran Conservancy Trailblazers.
