He wants to have a relationship with you through his Son, Jesus Christ. It’s not complicated. Just believe that: God loves. He gave. We believe. We have eternal life.
If God is tugging at your heart today, don’t ignore it. Say a prayer that goes something like this: “Dear God, I have sinned. Please forgive me. I turn from my old ways and look toward you for new life. I believe what your Son, Jesus, did for me at the cross. Help me to grow closer to you daily. I need and want you in my life. Amen.”
What to do first: Put God first in your life. Find a good, Bible-believing Christian church. Start reading the Bible. Start in the New Testament, the Book of John. I read out of the NIV Bible.
Ask God to guide you daily and put people in your life that will help you grow in your new faith. My name is Dan, I care about you and where you will spend eternity. God bless you as you draw near to Him.
In the New Testament, there’s a verse: “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” This verse if found in the Book of James 4:8. I like the book of James.
