Our family has lived in Fountain Hills for over 20 years. In that time, we have seen many restaurants come and go. About a year ago HD Asian Bistro opened on Palisades just west of Saguaro.

While our town does have a few nice restaurants, too often we find that we need to go to Scottsdale for fine dining. Their food is considered Asian Fusion, which at their restaurant I have found translates to meaning extremely flavorful versions of standard recipes.

We find their food consistently as good if not better than PF Changs, without the long drive. Their curry shrimp is absolutely spectacular and can be made to whatever heat level you desire. My son’s favorite is the shrimp lo mein. A lot of their food is stir fry, which makes it good for people looking to stay in shape.

David, the owner, is in many cases the first person that you will see. He is easily recognizable as the gentleman who greets each of his customers with a huge, welcoming smile. His smile prepares you for a meal that will be sure to keep the smile on your face long after you have completed it.
