Goddard: We have to live within our means, including the school district

Here we go again with the Fountain Hills Unified School District wasting taxpayers’ money.

I just received the ballot in the mail and wonder what the cost is? They had a ballot for this just a year or two ago when it was soundly defeated, so why are they wasting our money trying again?

We all have to live within our means. If our income goes down, so must our expenses. School enrollment is down so they need to cut expenses proportionately. Our pockets are not a bottomless pit.
