Thank you AMVETS of Fountain Hills for your kind donation to the Fountain Hills High School Sister Cities Club.

The Fountain Hills High School Sister Cities Club is going to Dierdorf and Munich, Germany, this June. Eleven exceptional high school student-athletes, including teachers Jennifer Ray, Luke Salzman and Chris Peterson, will spend 17 days with host families while attending the Martin-Butzer Gymnasium School in Dierdorf in a sports-themed trip.

As a club, participants will experience excursions in Munich and Dierdorf. With the AMVETS’ generous donation, Fountain Hills students will tour the city of Munich, visit the royal castle in Neuschwanstein, take a cruise on the Rhine, contemplate the historic Dachau Concentration Camp and spin around the speedy go kart tracks in the style of the Autobahn.

Additionally, the students will see the Olympic Museum and the Cologne Cathedral.
