Former education and sports editor for The Times Independent George Zeliff has recently joined the Fountain Hills Unified School District (FHUSD) as a digital communications teacher.
Zeliff joins FHUSD as a CTE teacher (career and technical education), instructing students in vocational subjects like digital communications and media production.
As his first job in teaching, Zeliff says he wants to run his program like a multimedia news network where students can study and work on all aspects of media, from print to television broadcast and even radio and podcasts.
