Funeral planning seminar at mortuary

Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary, 12065 N. Saguaro Blvd., will present a free “lunch and learn” seminar about planning a funeral or cremation in advance at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the mortuary,

The program will explain the advantages of advanced funeral or cremation planning and how to manage the cost.
Sandy Perrin, advanced planning professional, will lead the question and answer period. Among the discussion topics will be what if death occurs away from home.
Information on preserving future government assistance and protecting assets when dealing with Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) and Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS) will be covered.
