Freeze warning issued for Valley

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for Fountain Hills and the Valley metro region overnight and into Saturday morning, Dec. 27.

A cold low pressure system is settling over the Valley today and tonight, and the clear skies and dry air will lead to a cold evening. Outlying suburbs, such as Fountain Hills, could see their temperatures drop to freezing or the lower 30s.

Homeowners are reminded to cover frost-sensitive plants and bring pets indoors.
