Frances “Foohey” Kidwell, 93, passed away Oct. 31, 2014. She was born Sept. 7, 1921. Fran was a long-time resident of Rio Verde where she enjoyed golf, bridge and Scotch with friends.
Fran’s impact on those who knew her was remarkable given her amazing wit, her wonderful stories and friendly demeanor.
Fran will be truly missed by her son, Rob; her daughter-in-law, Ellen; her grandchildren, Brad, Jacqui and Chris; along with hundreds of friends in Estes Park, Colo., Wilmette, Ill., Rio Verde and Omaha, where she resided during most of her life.
Fran may have lost her battle with cancer, but she won the hearts of us all while inspiring us to smile each and every day.
A celebration of life will be held in Rio Verde on Dec. 6 at the Rio Verde Community Church at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers a nominal gift to Verdes Cares would be a wonderful tribute to mom.
