A six-week speaker series is currently underway at Fountain View Village in Fountain Hills.

Fountain View Village recently announced a six-week speaker series.
The series is titled, “New Beginnings,” to empower seniors for a healthier and happier life.
The series, which began Jan. 20, offers essential information, expert insights, and practical tips to help older adults kickstart 2024, according to a press release by Linda Kuhn, Fountain View Village sales and marketing director.
The series is held through Feb. 24, from 9 to 11 a.m.
The Fountain View Village Speaker Series will showcase renowned industry professionals through expert speakers and engaging panel discussions, covering a spectrum of topics designed to address unforeseen life events and foster holistic well-being, Kuhn added.
“Attendees will gain invaluable insights, receiving practical tips and actionable strategies for navigating challenges successfully and thriving in key areas such as health, finance, personal fulfillment, and community engagement.,” she said.
“This unique experience will allow participants to have direct interaction with speakers through dedicated Q&A sessions, providing personalized insights for an enriching learning journey.”

Saturday, Feb. 3
From 9 to 10 a.m.; Healthy Heartbeats with Debbie Romano; “FARM-acy in Your Kitchen: Learn the Benefits of Your Food Choices by Eating Natural Foods.”
From 10 to 11 a.m.; Fountain Hills Post-Acute with Physical Therapist Victor Salinas; “Get to the Core of It: Find Your Inner Balance & Strengthen Your Core.”
Saturday, Feb. 10
From 9 to 10 a.m.; Desert Family Home Health; “Prioritizing Your Mental Health.”
From 10 to 11 a.m.; New Day Lifestyles with Julia Moon; “Focus on Your Independence BUT Know Your Options.”
Saturday, Feb. 17
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Fountain Hills Community Health Fair; Fountain View Village staff will showcase the array of amenities, programs and personalized services that contribute to residents’ lifestyles.
Saturday, Feb. 24
From 9 to 10 a.m.; Encompass Health; “The Importance of Taking Prescribed Medications Correctly.”
From 10 to 11 a.m.; “Wellness for Nurturing Your Body & Mind” with Meichelle Roberge, Mayo Clinic’s certified yoga instructor.
For this event attendees should prepare to participate from a chair or standing position.
