The Protect Our Youth - Fountain Hills drug prevention coalition invites the community to participate in its latest community survey.

All residents of Fountain Hills and the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation are invited to share their insights anonymously, aiding the coalition in understanding local perspectives on alcohol and drug use, as well as youth-related issues within the communities.

“We want to hear from everyone - whether you’re a parent, grandparent, a young adult or a part-time/full-time resident,” Tammy Bell, the coalition executive director, said in a press release.

This brief survey is designed for everyone in the community aged 18 and above and encompasses a variety of topics ranging from educating local youth about drugs and alcohol to the familiarity with community resources.

“Your contribution is invaluable,” Bell said. “The coalition has big plans for the survey results, shaping future projects and initiatives to combat youth substance abuse and early onset use in Fountain Hills and the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation.”

The survey won’t be open for long, according to Bell, so the community is invited to take the survey as soon as possible.

The survey takes 10 minutes to complete and responses are entirely anonymous, Bell added.

“Please answer the questions candidly based on your own knowledge and experiences within our community,” Bell said. “Your input will significantly contribute to the health and safety of our community through substance awareness and abuse prevention. We sincerely appreciate your time and effort in taking this survey.”

The survey is accessible on a computer or mobile device. To access the survey, visit surveymonkey.com/r/FountainHillsCommunitySurvey2024

“Let’s work together to create a safer and healthier community for our families,” Bell said.
