Volleyball season is just around the corner, and the Fountain Hills High School girls volleyball team has high hopes for another strong campaign.
Last year, the Falcon volleyball team went 28-10 and finished second in the 3A North Central. The Falcons eventually lost to Valley Christian in the quarterfinals of the 3A AIA Girls Volleyball championship tournament. That was a tough loss but that doesn’t diminish the Lady Falcons’ pride for the upcoming season.
“We’re going to be competitive and make a name for ourselves, since it’s our first year in 2A,” said head coach Olivia Long.
