Fountain Hills Unified School District will focus on budget cuts again

Board discussing strategies to boost enrollment

The Fountain Hills Unified School District will discuss budget cuts again during its Feb. 19 board meeting. The district allocated $10.9 million for Maintenance and Operations (M&O) in fiscal year 2024. That amount dropped by 6% to less than $10.3 million in fiscal year 2025. The majority of the district’s other funds in the FY 2025 budget had lower funding than it had in the prior fiscal year.

Award of Contract for a Request for Proposal – Real Estate Broker Services, is an action item that will be discussed among the board members. The board must decide on whether to approve or decline the RFP No. 25-01 for Real Estate Services for Fountain Hills Unified School District to Land Advisors Organization. The evaluation team reviewed the proposals and short listed them down to two vendors.
