Creating a guideline for AI

Superintendent Dr. Cain Jagodzinski shared an informational report on Artificial Intelligence at the latest Fountain Hills Unified School District board meeting. Artificial Intelligence (AI) was a significant topic discussed during the presentation. FHUSD is starting to pay more attention to the use of AI. Fountain Hills’ students and faculty are using AI frequently to assist them with schoolwork. AI has become a frequently used and prominent tool for society, especially used in the educational field in high school.

According to ACT.org, 46% of high school students use AI tools, especially ChatGPT. Students aren’t the only ones using AI to assist them during school hours. Teachers use AI to help affect their classrooms in various ways. AI-powered tools like Gradescope automatically grade assignments using machine learning algorithms.
