Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board hosted special meeting

Board members vote for president and vice president

The Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board named Dr. Richard Rutkowski as president at its Tuesday, Jan. 14,  special meeting.

The meeting was called specifically to elect officers. After former board President Jill Reed ended her tenture at the position, Dr. Richard Rutkowski served as interim leader.

At the Jan. 14 meeting Rutkowski and fellow board members Madicyn Reid and Lillian Acker nominated themselves for the position of president.
