Fountain Hills Governing Board approves security equipment purchase

New board regime takes over the reigns

Members of the Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board unanimously voted to accept the purchase of Logicalis equipment to enhance campus security.

The vote took place Jan. 15 when newly-elected President Dr. Richard Rutkowski and Vice President Madicyn Reid led the meeting.

Superintendent Dr. Cain Jagodzinski reported that he spoke with the county about funding for the equipment. The county approved the plan to use funding, and it would not come out of capital or maintenance and operation (M&O).
