Fountain Hills turkey drive feeds local families: 250 turkeys and counting

Community rallies for fourth annual Parade of Thanksgiving Turkey Drive

The community came out in droves Tuesday, Nov. 5, when it donated upwards of 250 frozen turkeys during the fourth annual Parade of Thanksgiving Turkey Drive.

The turkeys filled two full-size gaylords at the Extended Hands Food Bank which is averaging approximately 5,500 visitors each month.

The food bank’s goal is to reach 400 turkeys to support those in need this holiday season.
