Fountain Hills Town Council to review zoning for 25 residential homes

Will also recommend subcommittee members

The Fountain Hills Town Council will look to potentially rezone 20 acres of property to allow for 25 single-family homes and will also recommend to appoint a list of members for various subcommittees during its meeting on Tuesday, April 21.

The Planning and Zoning Commission approved the Toll Brothers application during its March meeting to rezone approximately 20 acres between Golden Eagle Boulevard and Aspen Drive to allow for 25 single-story, single-family residential homes. Each lot would be zoned from 35,000 square feet to 10,000.

Upon approval, the commission advised the applicant to work alongside Public Works on traffic mitigation and road striping. The applicant’s initial plans included 29 homes but was reduced to 25 to allow for open space.
