Fountain Hills Town Council holds first public discussion on museum contract

During work session budget retreat

Fountain Hills Town Council and staff held its first public discussion on The River of Time Museum as its contract with the town is set to expire in August. The council held differing thoughts though no action was taken. Vice Mayor Allen Skillicorn was absent. 

The Background

The town and museum are currently under contract, which is set to expire in August, in which the museum pays just $1 per year for 25 years ($25 in total) for the 5,000-square-foot space under the gift clause in the Arizona State Constitution.
