The town of Fountain Hills’ current contract with Central Arizona Shelter Services received discussion while the Town Council conducted various community contract reviews during its worksession meeting on Nov. 12.
There are five expenditures, with town staff seeking feedback on the $120,700 budgeted for fiscal year 2026.
Fountain Hills has $50,000 budgeted for fiscal year 2026 toward CASS, with $15,000 spent to date. The town paid $30,000 in 2025, zero dollars in 2024 and $40,000 per year in 2022 and 2023 in a contract with New Leaf sheltering services, town Chief Financial Officer Paul Soldinger outlined in a presentation.
