When Fountain Hills Theater’s Artistic Director Peter J. Hill saw that F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel, “The Great Gatsby” was to fall into public domain in 2023, he was well ahead of the curve. Two years ahead, to be precise.
“I started writing back in 2021,” Hill said, who had reread the popular novel in preparation for his new production.
Three years later, Hill, his cast and creative staff are making final preparations to present the world-premier of “The Great Gatsby” at the Fountain Hills Theater beginning Friday, March 22.
