Fountain Hills Theater award-winning Actor Alex Gonzalez brings his celebration of classic Las Vegas back to the Fountain Hills Theater stage for a one-night-only event.

In support of Fountain Hills Theater, Gonzalez and his special guests will bring to life the days of highballs and high rollers, Elvis and Frank and everything that made Vegas Vegas, an FHT press release said.

The production will include classic hits like, “Can’t Help Falling in Love;” “Now and Forever;” and Elvis’ “Viva Las Vegas.”

In addition, those in attendance will hear the first official announcement of Fountain Hills Theater’s 2024-25 season of shows.

Gonzalez has most recently been seen onstage at Fountain Hills Theater in “Ghost the Musical,” “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story,” “Lend Me A Tenor” and “Grand Hotel.”

Long-time FHT patrons will remember him from “South Pacific,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “The Full Monty” and “Oklahoma.”

“I have been performing in the Valley for over 40 years with many local theater companies, but Fountain Hills Theater has been not just another theater company where I’ve performed,” Gonzalez said. “It has been more like a home to me, having been in over 50 productions, starting with ‘The Music Man’ in 1991.”

Fountain Hills Theater Artistic/Technical Director Peter J. Hill adds, “We are so excited to have Alex bring his show to our stage once again. Alex has been practically a fixture in our shows for almost four decades, and to play host to his cabaret show once again is a privilege for FHT and an absolute delight for our audience.”

“Remembering Vegas” plays Saturday, March 16, with a reception beginning at 5 p.m., and the performance beginning at 6 p.m. at the Fountain Hills Theater on its Mainstage at 11445 N. Saguaro Blvd.

Individual tickets are $50 and are available through the Theater Box Office at 480-837-9661 x3 or by visiting fhtaz.org.

Box Office Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

The Fountain Hills Theater presents three regularly scheduled seasons of productions in its two theaters.

The Theater’s year-round offering includes Mainstage, Mainstage Too! and Youth productions. Special events, community outreach and educational arts programming for local youth are also offered.

Special events are offered throughout the season on both stages as well as in community centers. The theater has been in operation as a professionally-directed community theater for over 30 years.

The mission of Fountain Hills Theater is “to engage, inspire and entertain diverse audiences, train and support our youth, and celebrate the essential power of the performing arts.”

Fountain Hills Theater is a 501(c)(3) organization. All gifts are tax-deductible. The theater is 100% funded by ticket sales and donations. Volunteer opportunities are available.
